Ghost month
C-Tone sms n called me up yesterday to ganti his EPM duty coz he has some prayin rituals to do tonite.. ouhzz must be the festival then..
What is it?
Festival of the Hungry Ghost is on the 7th moon of the lunar Moon in de Chinese Lunar calendar, on de 15th day. This year it falls in diz month, boh duiii!! So these ghosts r free to roam de earth lahh ertinya.. BOH DUI!!
According to popular belief, the gate between the world of the living and that of the ghosts opens and it remains open for the whole lunar month. BOH DUI!! Hence, during that month it is easy for the ghosts to visit us. On the fifteenth of the lunar month, every household prepares elaborate offerings to all ghosts so as to appease them. Buddha taught that on this day one may make wondrous food offering to Buddha and Sangha, and the merits accrued may save one's parents, of this or one of the last six lives, from suffering in transmigration. Therefore, this is also the day ofmaking offerings to Buddha and Sangha in remembrance of one's parents. 
SO WHEN EXACTLY IS THE 15TH?? OPZZZ ITS ACTUALLY TONITE!!! BOH DUII!!
Dalam bahasa cina it is called YUE LAAN ( Hungry Ghost festival) Errr, is it a festival? Ada celebration ka? I dont think so..
Offerings will be given to these ghosts such as burning paper money, roasted chicken, pork, or other items such as apples, oranges will be left lyin on the streets, to keep these ghosts comfortable!! BOH DUII!!
p/s: Tone - pray 4 me as well ah.. dont make them kacao me n semoga they can find their way back to the other world!!

Neway, teringat pulaks movie 'Chinese Ghost story' played by de late Leslie Cheung ( ia gei ). Its such a romantic movie, sad ending though.. sapa alum liyat, bah agath liyat.. u will definitely love dat movie, well, if u like 'weepy' n 'soapy' movie laa.. atu lawa2 tu chinese ghosts nya kalau camani!! still dont wanna meet any!!!
Neway, not watchin any Ghost movie till de end of the ghost month, tungkal ku!! Especially pasal STPRI cases as well.. mmmm .. bah stop forwarding de sms, kana tangkap kamu krg!!!
